About This Game
Go behind enemy lines to forge your army, conquer Fortresses and dominate Mordor from within. Experience how the award winning Nemesis System creates unique personal stories with every enemy and follower, and confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron and his Ringwraiths in this epic new story of Middle-earth.
In Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™, nothing will be forgotten.
Shadow of War is a good game, and I recommend picking it up, especially if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings. I waited almost a year to play it because of the controversy surrounding the inclusion of microtransactions at release. These have now been removed from the game, and the progression of levelling up Talion and his orc army felt fine to me.
After 326 Hours into this game, I can confirm it is worth all the money I paid for it. A lot of people didn't like the old Shadow Wars, but to be honest I personally didn't mind it, mostly because I was doing the wars before the unlimited siege update. Watching my orcs struggle to defend my fortress was very funny and watching the power shift from my favor to the enemies and back to mine again was very satisfying. I wish that depending on the tribe in charge of the fortress, you would have different siege defence unique mechanic.
